DOVO Solingen was founded in 1906 and is an independent German company, based in Solingen. They are a manufacturer of scissors and shaving equipment such as straight razors and safety razors.

Razor Specs:

• The blade is 5/8″ carbon steel, Round point.
• Extra Hollow ground.
• This is one of the very finest blades made by Dovo.
• Made in Solingen, Germany
• Carbon Steel blades are easier to sharpen but will need more care and need to be properly dried and maintained to prevent rust. Clean and dry carefully.

Your new Dovo Razor is honed and stropped ready to use straight out of the box. It will be fine for a good few shaves but will need stropping at some point to polish the cutting edge.
